Colonel Austin

Sunny C Ranch now proudly owns and stands Colonel Austin aka Colonel, one of the last sons of great sire Coyote Colonel. Colonel has only a small foal crop on the ground, he has not been advertised before. The foals he has sired have all been very smart, willing, athletic, and have a lot of speed. Colonel is really something to look at, he stands 14.3 and is built THICK, he has a lot of bone and foot under him.

Coyote Colonel has sired many winners from NCHA earners in excess of $25,000+, team roping, PRCA calf roping, reining, ranch horse, and barrel horses. Colonel Freckles who needs no introduction is still on the leading sire lists for cutting, reined cow horses, and reining.

Maybe you are familiar with the super producing broodmare; Positively A Coyote(producer of over $131,000) Positively A Coyote has produced futurity earners, Rodeo winners and is the dam to:

*Dark French Honey (AQHA Open Reserve World Champion Sr. Heading). As A Performer.... LTE over $240,000. In 2013 he won $27,000 in jackpots, barrel and pole futurities, ridden by Ashley Schafer.

*Freckles Ta Fame (Canman)LTE over $411,000! 2019 NFR Qualifier (5th NFR Average), 2019 WPRA Horse with the Most Heart, 2019 WPRA Mountain States Circuit Barrel Horse of the Year. It's safe to say that Coyote Colonel is a magic cross on Frenchmans Guy, good thing we have a First Down French(Frenchmans Guy) daughter in our broodmare band.

Colonel Austin was bred, and raised in Iowa, he has lived there until the fall of 2020. Tyson's cousin: Bill Campidilli has given us the opportunity to own Colonel Austin, were he will be crossed on our great mares and live the rest of his days out in Oklahoma. Colonel Austin's foals will be offered to the public, and we will be keeping several each year for ourselves.

$750, mare care is not included in this price.
